Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo sa Maayos at Maunlad na Lipunan

In every country, there is always misunderstandings or even a war and that is inevitable. However, in order to achieve what everyone is hoping for, the peace and order, man must have a good relationship with his neighbor.

Though Philippines is a small country to be governed by the seated officials, because of individual differences among his men, peace and order still is hard to attain. But in attaining it, we must not always be arrogant with our own beliefs with us because letting others enter our hearts begins with accepting their beliefs and that will let them accept yours too. After accepting each other, be humble enough so that you can start a good relationship with each other.

Our society lacks camaraderie that is why we do not have any progress. So, we must strengthen our good relationship with our neighbor  and start building a wall with them to keep you standing together even if there comes the typhoon or even an earthquake.

Kill the Boredom!

A long sigh of relief came out from me as I put down my school stuffs.  Since school is so stressful and even making my mind go nuts, it gives me unending restless days and nights.  'Coz we barely had rest because of too many school activities even on Saturdays and Sundays , all I could wish is to have a vacation even just for a day or two.  Luckily, semestral break granted it and finally, came to visit me.

On the first day of vacation, my mood wasn't that good because unluckily, I lost in the election for the Sanguniang Kabataan as a Kagawad and it saddens me. Who would jump for joy knowing that they lost in a competition or a game, right? Luckily, I got over it so easily and had no regret joining the election because it was a nice experience.  The remaining days went peaceful but not boring because I had things to do to kill the boredom.

I went out of the house on Tuesday and the remaining days? I spent it in our house, watching dramas and movies, let's say, a marathon;  a sixteen and a twenty- four hour Korean drama and three movies- one Filipino and two English.   The dramas were so good that it got me to be carried away. Koreans really have a different way to make a drama because it is like you want to ask for an extension since you can't get over it.  But time really flies so fast that vacation will be over soon.  Early morning in November 1 is when we went to Cabugao where my grandfather and some other relatives in mother-side lays. In the afternoon, we went to Paing cemetery to visit Daddy (grandpa) and some other relatives' tombs. We visited them all in just for a day because classes resumed the next day (Tuesday).

My semestral break may not be that meaningful but at least I was glad that I've got something to do so that boredom won't strike.  Maybe next time, it will be totally different because next will be my first semestral break as a college student. I wonder, how does it feel like to be a college student because we only have five remaining months to spend as seniors?

Two Laps Down

There's nothing ordinary in our daily lives. Everyday, there is a special role we play, and since life is a never- ending racetrack, it gets more and more exciting as it pass through laps. It's but normal to take it slow as long as you take the right track.

Time has blown the days and second grading period has already ended.  There were so many activities in this period; the National Leadership Training, Science Month Celebration which includes the Regional Science Congress and some other more.  Since these activities were attended by some of our classmates, there were countless people inside our room so we barely had classes. However, it was so tiring that most of our subjects, we had to cram our topics that were included in our quarter examination.

Maybe I really did not do my best that is why the results of my exams were not that good. So hopefully, on the third quarter I will be more determined and inspired to study since I screwed up on the second quarter.

Breaking Barriers Through English

Every country has their own languages and dialects.  Since our language is our own identity, we must love and be proud of it.  However, in order to to understand people around the world, they assigned the so- called international language and that is English.

Since we, Filipinos, were once colonized by Americans whose language is English, it is not anymore surprising that we can speak English easily because of the influence we got from Americans.  For other countries, they could hardly speak this language unless they attend an English class of or get to English countries like USA.

In order to have a unity among nations, people really need to have a common language to understand each other. Since not every word have the same meaning in every nation, a single word might be good and flatters a person's heart for a nation but it might be an ear-sore for other nation.  So everyone in this world must be familiar with English and speak it freely and easily. Each one of us must be responsible enough to break the barrier and continue the chain reaction.  Having camaraderie is not the only thing brought by international language  but also, a person can also gain a friend from other countries because of this.

Do not be afraid to learn and use English though they say that we must patronize our own because learning other countries languages is not turning our back to our own nation.

"Filipinnovation: The Way Forward"

Compared to other small countries like Singapore and Japan, our country, Philippines, is now left behind.  Japan, though they lack natural resources, proved that it is not the hindrance to make them left behind. In the Philippines, to think that we are rich in natural resources, we are very far from what is to be expected .  So we must think of a way for us to be like Japan or even the United States.

We need some change.  On order to make our country to be more developed, we need to have a greater labor power.  When a children grow up, they must be taught and their eyes must be opened to what we really need and that is innovation.  It's better for them to be taught earlier because we never knew if they will be the ones out of many Filipinos who can develop or invent something that could make our country move forward.

Every Filipino must help in developing or upgrading what has already been discovered or invented. Every one of us must be well- informed and taught about things that need to be innovated for us to sustain what we lack, and that is the manpower.

If all Filipinos could be like Agapito Flores, Jose Rizal, or like Luz Oliveros- Belardo or William Padolina, our country will not anymore be like its status today. In the future, it will be like one of the giants who is popular to every other country.

My Teacher, My Hero

Being a teacher is not easy as spelling then pronouncing it, or singing ABC and counting 123.  This  is not a profession to be looked down and laughed at for it holds one of the greatest responsibility in our society.  However, students in this generation seem not to care about their teachers anymore that they even take them for granted.  It seems that the only thing that is important for them is that they are in their classroom whether to listen or not to listen, learning or not, as long as they are called students of an institution, they don't care what their teachers feel anymore.

Being taken for granted is now a problem all over the world now so since I am a student, and honestly speaking, I am also taking them for granted sometimes.  Having the thought of having no teacher in our classrooms, just studying alone or maybe a robot discussing different lessons, can  I really learn something?

Imagining myself without a teacher, I said to myself that yes, I can learn something but  it can  only be limited. I may have the books to read but the problem is, what if I cannot understand what it says?   I can't ask the book to explain it to me since it does not talk.  Or, maybe I can attend an institution with robots as teacher instead of a human teacher since the world is so advanced now that technologies can do anything and everything.  However, speaking of robots, my teacher once said that robots can be a good teacher but it will only discuss what is programmed in its memory.  That is why, human teachers are still the ones who can really help us  since they open our eyes to discover different things in this world.  They have the biggest impact on the kids' life.  Ever since we are still small kids, they were already there teaching us the lesson we must learn and light up the fire to make us closer to our dreams.   They are the hope of the future of every student in this world.  They are making us believe that we can reach even the highest star.

Teachers are the real hero.  They are the professionals who make other professional. There will be no engineers. There will be no doctors.  There will be no lawyers if there are no teachers.  There will be no Bill Gates or any successful business man who completes the chart of richest man around the globe, no Obama and there will also be no Aquino.   Teachers are really important in our society.  They must be looked up because they are the real stars.  They should not be taken for granted.

"Without a wise parent or a school with wise teachers, a kid will not grow up being wise unless he finds it not in technologies, not in books but in other PEOPLE."
"Teachers are the eye- opener to every man he teaches. They make people believe that what we think that is different to others can also be similar."

Keep on Moving!

Time flies like how the water flows in the river.  First quarter is about to end and the examination is getting near but the memories back on the first day I entered my senior life are still as fresh as memory of yesterday.  So many things had happened and many lessons had been learned.  Either good or bad, happy or sad footprints, no one can stop the time to keep moving so everybody must keep also on moving.

In this quarter, there were many things I had learned that some made my mind turn into nuts; activity here, assignment there. Almost everyday, during vacant time, working on activities and when I get home, a bunch of assignments is there waiting.  Projects?  I should call it rushed projects because I work on it when the deadline is getting near  but sometimes, some subject teachers only give projects a few days before the date of examination that is why all I could do is cram and cram.  Sometimes, i keep on interrogating myself if i should keep on going or I will just stop because of tiring days, leading to a complete stress but everytime I try to compose myself, I always realize that I must finished what I had started.  That is why I should keep on going and keep fighting everytime challenge arises.  Work hard and do my best, better than this quarter, that's my  goal for the next quarter.

Focus on your journey.  You can look back but can't go back so let the past be an inspiration and a lesson.  Journey with your dreams, don't listen to any discouragement and don't live with the expectations of others.  Meeting the expectation of others will only make one's dream appear unattainable.  That thought always appear in my mind everytime I hear comparisons and expectations.  Sometimes, when I hear them saying things like that, my concentration disperses.  That is why sometimes I want to be locked in a room all alone learning my lessons.

"Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at kalikasan, Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan"

Show Your Love to Your Own Language

Nowadays, many Filipinos especially the youth, are getting hooked to different languages, like Korean, seem to be invading our country through song most preferably Korean Pop (K-pop).  You can hear it all around;radio, television and someone will no longer be surprised  if he hears someone beside him singing one because there are really Filipinos who want to learn a particular language to understand what the song means or what their idols are saying.  There is nothing wrong with it, really; because learning other countries ' cultures and traditions and even their language can help you understand and learn more about the wonders of the world and how great God is for making it.  The only point is, Filipinos, show more love and value to your own language.  Preserve what the countless Filipinos cultivated that they even struggled hard and sacrificed for it. It is ours, it is ours which symbolizes our inspiration and binds us together as one nation.

Show ME Your Love

Maybe your wondering why I entitled this as "Show ME Your Love."  I, myself?  No!.  Think of this, isn't it that when you take the initials of Mother Earth, you will have ME?  Yes!.

Our nature needs protection, love and tender care.  Many parts of ME have already been destroyed because of those reckless men who only think of themselves and disregarding the future generation.  ME is screaming but it seems that no one even cares.  We need to wake up!  If man continues his wrongdoings, time will come that ME will retaliate.  We must not wait for the time to come that we will no longer have something to use for our daily lives because most of our necessities came from ME but sometimes we're just getting and getting without even replacing.

"Sa Pagkaing Tama at Sapat, Wastong Timbang ni Baby ang Katapat"

Health is better than wealth but we usually tend to take it for granted and  we only pay attention to it when we feel something that is wrong with our body.  But, have you ever think of it?  While we tend on taking it for granted, without knowing, there it goes giving us the most fruitful ingredient of our life.  Why?  because we cannot attain happiness and success without it.  So we must take care of it especially the health of babies.

While a baby is still a baby, a mother must give him the foundation that he could ever get.  She must already feed him the most appropriate  and nutritious food so that as he grows up, he will get healthier. Since giving healthy food to the baby, when he grows up, he will have a weight appropriate to his age.  Feeding him food which belongs to go, glow and grow or giving him mostly vegetables
will make him stronger and brighter.  Think of this, have you ever seen a person who got sick because of too much vegetables? No one, right?  It's because all vegetables are nutritious and only food which are really rich in bad cholesterol like beef and pork are the cause of some illnesses.

But health must not only be prioritize when we a person is still a baby, it must be prioritize all through our lives in order to attain the true meaning of happiness.

Dear Mr. President

Congratulations Sir for being the newly elected President of our beloved motherland, Philippines.

Sir, it doesn't matter who you were, who you are and who you will be in the future.  I don't care what the media is saying about your psychological test and that you aye smoking.  What matters to me is how you will lead this country and how you you fulfill your promises during the campaign and also' how you will make this wrecked ship to afloat once again.

Many people are expecting too much from you, Sir, since your parents have done everything they could do for this country.  So, most of us want to witness that you won not because of your parents' influence but because of your own might.  As soon as you will be seated , we want you to prove your worth.

Sir, since you said that your main goal is to ban corruption in our nation.  So, I do hope that you, yourself won't do it just like Juan Policarpio in Tanging Yaman where there is no exception: no family, no friends and even no for inner dept. Also, so as to make this ship to float, I do hope that you will also focus on education to help the youth since Dr. Rizal said that Youth is the hope of our fatherland.

I’m thankful, Sir that you read until here. Take care of your health and God bless.
